European Case Studies

An integral part of the project is to translate data and insights into actionable strategies. Through carefully designed case studies, BioClima will test and demonstrate the effectiveness of various approaches to achieve synergistic outcomes for climate and biodiversity objectives. This component of the project is critical in linking scientific research to tangible policy actions and conservation strategies. The case studies will be then upscaled to the European level and also compared with the Chinese case studies, mainly those in the continental and alpine climates.

Each case study is unique in its focus, methodology, and geographic scope, collectively contributing to a broader understanding of biodiversity and climate change across Europe's diverse biogeographical regions.
