On 24 April 2026, the BioClima project successfully hosted the online webinar “Understanding Biodiversity in Times of Climate Change”, bringing together experts from research, policy, and Earth observation communities.

About the webinar

The webinar focused on the interconnections between climate change and biodiversity, and highlighted how data and Earth observation can support research and informed decision-making.

Participants included researchers, policy makers, public authorities, and technical experts, contributing to an interdisciplinary discussion aligned with European and international initiatives such as Biodiversa+ and GEO.
