We are looking for experts to join the Advisory Board of BioClima — a project focused on land use, climate, and biodiversity impacts of land-based climate mitigation and biodiversity policies. The BioClima project integrates advanced AI, ground-based and remote sensing data to strengthen monitoring through Essential Biodiversity Variables (EBVs) and Essential Climate Variables (ECVs), supporting evidence-based policy-making at European and international scales.

  • What Advisory Board members would do:
  • Receive regular updates on project progress and key outputs
  • Be invited to 1–2 short online meetings per year to discuss results and give feedback
  • Benefit from visibility, networking, and direct contribution to EU research on biodiversity & climate change
  • Details & requirements:
  • Membership is voluntary (unpaid)
  • No strict limit on number of members; we are open to having a broad group (15–20 experts)
  • We aim to build the Advisory Board by end of 2025, with the first meeting in early 2026
