We are pleased to announce that BioClima Newsletter Issue 2 is now available online.

The second issue highlights the latest progress of the BioClima project, showcasing recent scientific achievements, international cooperation, pilot activities, and partner contributions from across Europe and China.

• the BioClima consortium meeting in Beijing and Huzhou, strengthening EU–China cooperation in biodiversity and climate monitoring,
• the establishment of the China–EU Biodiversity Exchange Centre and the signing of a new cooperation agreement,
• progress in developing AI-powered Earth observation tools and integrated biodiversity monitoring systems,
• highlights from BioClima events, including the webinar Understanding Biodiversity in Times of Climate Change, the Prague GeoAI meeting, and scientific activities in China,
